Victor Yu

Chief Executive Officer, Director, Chinese Medicine (CM) Practitioner

Victor is the founder and chief visionary behind the clinic, driving its direction, values, and commitment to high‑quality patient care. He takes an active, hands‑on role across clinic IT systems, staff training, professional reputation, marketing, and overall patient experience.

Victor works closely with patients at both our Hamilton City and Rototuna clinics.


Victor is a New Zealand Chinese Medicine Council–registered and ACC‑accredited Chinese Medicine Practitioner (Acupuncturist) and an ACC Provider. He holds a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC) and has served as a Committee Member of the Chinese Medicine Council of New Zealand (CMCNZ) since 2024.

He has been studying and practising Acupuncture, cupping, moving cupping, and Chinese Tui Na since 2010, completing over eight years of clinical training at the Student Clinic of the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Auckland. He also trained under renowned TCM specialist Lintao Yu, including hospital‑based clinical training in China.

In addition to his clinical background, Victor brings over 20 years of experience in New Zealand laboratories as IANZ‑accredited Key Technical Personnel (KTP). He also has extensive experience as a Health and Safety Representative and First Aider, contributing strong expertise in workplace health and safety.

Victor is a member of Acupuncture NZ and holds a current New Zealand First Aid Certificate.

Lintao Yu

Clinic Assistant

Lintao Yu works as a Clinic Assistant at both our Hamilton City and Rototuna clinics. He is not an ACC‑accredited or CMCNZ‑registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner in New Zealand and does not provide clinical TCM or acupuncture treatment at our clinics.

Lintao Yu is responsible for clinic office support and assistant duties, including helping with day‑to‑day operations. He also manages Chinese‑speaking patient bookings, including WeChat online bookings, supporting patients who prefer to communicate in Mandarin.

Professional Background (China)
Before retiring and relocating to New Zealand, Lintao Yu was a highly respected Traditional Chinese Medicine specialist in traumatology and orthopedics in China. He is recognized as a Famous Chinese Doctor in the well‑known medical publication “The Unique Skilled Famous Chinese Doctors.”

He practiced traditional Chinese traumatology, TCM orthopedics, cupping, moving cupping, acupuncture, and Chinese Tui Na massage for over 40 years. His professional achievements include receiving the Excellent Achievement Prize from both the Medical Holy Grail awards and the Huatuo Cup of the Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

He has published numerous academic papers and clinical science articles in China and internationally, many of which were awarded first or second prizes. His name and work are featured in several authoritative medical books and journals documenting advanced clinical experience and the application of acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, and Tui Na massage techniques, particularly in the field of orthopedics.


Vidihi Pandya

Contract Physiotherapist 

Vidhi is an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist currently working at our Hamilton City Physio Clinic. 

She has a strong professional interest in hospital‑based and community rehabilitation and is dedicated to helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and return safely to their daily activities.

She has experience providing holistic physiotherapy care across a variety of settings, including community health services, aged care facilities, and private hospitals. Vidhi takes a patient‑centred approach, delivering thorough assessments, individualised rehabilitation programmes, and education tailored to each person’s needs, goals, and lifestyle.

A strong advocate for patient education and empowerment, Vidhi focuses on supporting long‑term independence, injury prevention, and sustainable recovery outcomes. She works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care and optimal rehabilitation results.

With a genuine passion for promoting movement, health, and overall wellbeing, Vidhi is committed to serving the local community and supporting patients across the Waikato region.

Vidhi is a registered member of the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand and a member of Physiotherapy New Zealand (PNZ).
